Day 1: Arrive - Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met by our representative. Check-in at the hotel, have dinner, retire for the day.
Day 2: Delhi - Mussoorie
After having an early breakfast, catch the early morning Shatabdi Express to Dehradun. Following which, you will drive to Mussoorie- the Queen of Hills. The foothills of the Central Himalayas are the enviable location for this charming hill station. Check into the hotel on arrival and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Have dinner, retire for the day.
Day 3: Mussoorie -Dhanaulti-Bykhal
After breakfast, an early morning drive of 25 km will take you to Dhanaulti. A further drive of 17 km will take you to Khad village which will start the 6 km trek through the forest to Morina Dhar (2350 mt). Lunch will be provided to you in the afternoon, during the trek. A steep ½ hour climb from Morina Dhar will take you to Bykhal. Bykhal gives you a breathtaking view of the snowy Himalayan Range. Have dinner; retire for the night in tented camp.
Day 4: Bykhal-Moldhar
After having an early breakfast, begin the long trek to Moldhar via Ghodiappa. This trek will see you passing through thick forest for close to 2-3 hours before coming out on a ridge. The ridge offers a view of the Himalayan Ranges of Swargarohini and Nanda Devi as it runs parallel to them. A steep descent from the ridge will take you to Moldhar Village. After lunch, time permitting, you must visit the Kinnaur style temple in the village, a rarity in Garhwal. Set up camp, once you cross the village near the stream. Have dinner, and retire for the day.
Day 5: Moldhar -Nagtibba Base
After having breakfast, begin the 15 km trek to Nag Tibba (3048 mt).Till you reach a Channi (Shepherds hut) the path is pretty straight, but after that there is a steep climb for about 2-3 hours which will take you to Nag Tibba rest camp. Nag Tibba is visible from the rest camp. A steep 45 minute climb and you reach Nag Tibba. Your camp will be situated in a scenic meadow, but a thick pine forest will block your view of the mountains. You can retire for the day, after dinner.
Day 6: Nagtiba-Pantwari-Naugaon
After having breakfast, begin you return trek, down to Pantwari, and then drive to the picturesque village of Naugaon. Retire for the day at the guest house/tented camp after have dinner.
Day 7: Naugaon-Dehradun-Delhi
After breakfast you can visit the temples of Lakha Mandal which are associated with the Pandavas from Mahabharata. You then drive to the Dehradun Railway station to catch the Shatabdi Exp back to Delhi. At the railway station our representative will be on hand to receive you and escort you to your hotel. Check-in, have dinner, and call it a day.
Day 8: Depart Delhi
After breakfast you have the option of taking a sightseeing tour of Delhi. An airport transfer will be provided to help you board flight for onward destination.
