Karwar Beach: This Karnataka beach is famous for its silver sand, gentle waves, and peaceful alleys. It is located 100 kms from Goa. The beach is also famous for Sadashivgad Hill Fort with a Durg temple, Octagonal church, and Venkataramana temple.
Maple Beach: It is situated about 6 kms from Udupi. The beach is famous for its water sports activities like fishing and boating. Balarama temple and Maple’s oldest tile factory are other major attractions of the place.
Bhatkal Beach: This beach in Karnataka is 16 kms from Bhatkal. The majestic hill ranges and blue azure waters of the sea, makes the beach one of the popular tourist spots. The place is also famous for the Jain Chandranatha Basadi and Vijayanagar temples.
Kaup Beach: The beach is located 12 kms from Udupi, on its coastal belt. Other tourist attractions of the place include two temples of Goddess Mariamma, the Jain basadis, a ruined fort, and a 100 ft old high lighthouse.
Gokarna Beaches: Gokrana is a beach town and is a famous Hindu pilgrimage site. Some of the famous Gokarana beaches are Om, Gokarna, Kudle, Paradise, and Half Moon.
Maravanthe Beach: It is located 12 kms from Udupi. This beach of Karnataka is known for its golden sands, lined palm trees, and the sunset view. It is also popular for various water sports activities like swimming and surfing.
Kurumgad Island: This tortoise shape island offers its tourists various activities like diving, fishing, seal spotting, trekking, boat rides, and snorkeling.
